2144 3rd AvenueThe owner of the dilapidated structure at 2144 3rd Avenue in East Harlem has filed applications to construct a two-story, 3,623 square-foot commercial building. Demolition of the existing low-rise was approved last summer.

Bronx:

2028 Creston Avenue: Applications have been filed to construct an 11-story, 114-unit mixed-use building at 2028 Creston Avenue in Tremont. Spanning 124,153 square feet, the project would replace a vacant lot; Aufgang Architects is designing.

2004 Davidson AvenueBronx Gardens Realty has filed fresh applications to construct a six-story residential building at the vacant lot of 2004 Davidson Avenue, in Morris Heights. Plans for the nearly 25,000 square-foot structure were disapproved in May; Ellipses Design is the architect of record.

Brooklyn:

149 Empire Boulevard40 Convent Holdings LLC has filed applications to construct a four-story, 58,100 square-foot storage building at 149-167 Empire Boulevard in Crown Heights. Standing 75 feet above street level, the proposal would revitalize the street corner. Demolition of the existing gas station was approved in May; Frank G. Relf Architect is designing.

1511 Bedford Avenue: Realty Within Reach has filed permits to begin excavation work on their 10-story, 114-unit mixed-use building at 1511 Bedford Avenue, in Crown Heights. Spanning 90,806 square feet, Isaac and Stern Architects are designing.

100 Steuben StreetRock Developers LLC has filed permits to begin “structure, foundation and excavation” work on their eight-story, 39-unit residential building of 30,000 square feet in Clinton Hill. Demolition of the existing two-story structure was approved in June; Karl Fischer is designing.

1317 New York AvenueApplications have been filed for a seven-story, 34-unit residential building of 23,827 square feet at 1317 New York Avenue in East Flatbush. An existing three-story structure was approved for demolition in March; Think Architecture & Design is designing.

32 Maspeth AvenueMaspeth Villas LLC has filed applications to construct a six-story, nine-unit residential building of 6,200 square feet at 32 Maspeth Avenue in East Williamsburg. An existing two-story walk-up must first be demolished.

151 Lorimer StreetLorimer Mews LLC has filed applications to construct a four-story, three-unit residential building of 6,500 square-feet at 151 Lorimer Street in Williamsburg. The lot is vacant, and BTE Design Services is designing.

102 Scholes StreetApplications have been filed to construct a four-story, eight-unit building of 5,395 square feet at 102 Scholes Street in Williamsburg. In 2010, demolition permits for an existing three-story structure were approved, and Asher Hershkowitz is designing.

567 Evergreen Avenue: An anonymous LLC has filed additional applications in conjunction with disapproved plans to construct a four-story, two-unit residential building of 2,960 square feet at 567 Evergreen Avenue in Bushwick; the corner lot is currently vacant.

Queens:

149-48 Beech AvenueApplications have been filed at 149-48 Beech Avenue in East Flushing for a new two-story, two-unit residential building of 2,700 square feet. The owner received approval to demolish the existing two-story structure in June.

162-46 95th StreetThe owner of 162-46 95th Street in Howard Beach has filed applications to construct a two-story, two-unit residential walk-up of 2,500 square feet. An existing one-and-a-half story structure was approved for demolition in January.

144-12 68th RoadThe owner of the one-and-a-half story abode at 144-12 68th Road, in Pomonok, has filed applications to construct a new two-story, single-family house of 3,075 square-feet.

Staten Island:

345 Atlantic AvenueSlane Developers have submitted building applications to construct two wood-framed structures — each two stories, holding two units, and spanning 2,505 square-feet — at the vacant lots of 345 Atlantic and 334 Burgher Avenue, in Dongan Hills.
