268 Green Street: Yoel Schwimmer — of 270 Green LLC — has filed applications to construct a six-story and nearly 50,000 square-foot commercial building at 268-276 Green Street, in Greenpoint. A single-floor steel-framed structure would need to be demolished; Charles Mallea is designing.

867 DeKalb Avenue: Simon Kaufman, of 873 DeKalb Residence LLC, has filed applications for a six-story and 35-unit residential building of 24,000 square feet at the vacant lot of 875-877 DeKalb Avenue, in northern Bedford-Stuyvesant; Charles Mallea is designing the entire development.

131 32nd Street: Qui Lai Liu has filed permits to begin excavation and structural work on a previously filed six-story and 74-room hotel of nearly 21,000 square feet at 131-137 32nd Street, in Greenwood; demolition of the existing single-floor warehouse was approved in May.

894 Bushwick Avenue: Joel Kohn, of 894 Bushwick LLC, has filed applications to begin construction of a planned four-story and 20-unit residential building of nearly 13,400 square feet at 894 Bushwick Avenue, in Bushwick. An existing three-story structure will need to be demolished, and Julien Flander is designing.

5102 11th Avenue: Moshe Gold, of Congregation Givath Shaul, has filed applications to construct a three-story and 11,000 square-foot community facility — technically an extension of the existing building — at 5102 11th Avenue, in Borough Park; Asher Hershkowitz is designing.

238 Hall Street: Eli Hamway — of 242 Hall Street LLC — has filed applications to construct a four-story and 10-unit residential building of 9,915 square feet at the vacant lot of 238 Hall Street, in Clinton Hill; S3 Architecture is designing.

1545 47th Street: David Frank, of 1545 47th Street LLC, has filed applications to construct a four-story and five-unit residential building of 8,815 square feet at 1545 47th Street, in Borough Park; the existing two-story structure was approved for demolition in July.

813 Jefferson Avenue: David Cohen — of 350 Hooper LLC — has filed applications to construct a four-story and eight-unit residential building of 5,330 square feet at the vacant lot of 813 Jefferson Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

5706 18th Avenue: Michael Melnicke has filed applications to construct a three-story and three-unit residential building of 4,848 square feet at 5706 18th Avenue, in southern Borough Park. Demolition of the existing two-story structure was approved in May.

QUEENS:

22-44 Jackson Avenue: David Wolkoff has filed a slew of construction permits for his 48 and 41-story mixed-use development at 22-44 Jackson Avenue, in Long Island City; demolition is currently underway, and structural, mechanical, and utility filings have now been processed.

228-02 Merrick Boulevard: Zain Munassar — of Merrick Rental LLC — has filed applications to construct a two-story and nearly 16,000 square-foot commercial and community building at 228-02 – 228-04 Merrick Boulevard, in Laurelton. A single-story structure was demolished in 2012; Shiming Tam is designing.

STATEN ISLAND: 

481 Midland Avenue: Aiman Youssef has filed applications to construct a two-story and two-unit residential building of nearly 2,500 square feet at 481 Midland Avenue, in Midland Beach; a single-family residential structure had been demolished in 2013 after sustaining Superstorm Sandy damage.
