108-20 Rockaway Beach Boulevard [DNAinfo New York]: In Good Company Hospitality Group and JBS Project Management have planned a four-story, “30 to 50 room” Rockaway Beach Hotel at 108-20 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, in Seaside. “They hope to open the hotel by 2017,” and existing two- and three-story structures must first be demolished.

217 West 18th Street [DNAinfo New York]: USPS — the current owner the two-story, 41,600 square-foot structure at 217 West 18th Street, in southern Chelsea — “plans to sell the right to develop” atop the current building by “up to 83 feet.” An eight-story residential expansion is one option, or the air rights could be transferred to redevelop another site.
