MacQuesten Development and NYS Homes and Community Renewal have announced an 11-story, 80-unit rental building at the vacant lot of 130 Mount Vernon Avenue, in Mount Vernon, per Real Estate Weekly. Dubbed The Modern, the $31.5 million project will include 9,400 square feet of retail space. The building is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2016.

How can I get an application for the modern in Mount Vernon ny
I Would like to know how to get an application for The Modern In Mt Vernon!?
I am interested in receiving an application on the new development on Mount Vernon Ave.
My question is; just how affordable are the rents in this new developement? Is it 30% of your income or what? Is it for working class or low income families, is the minimum income too high for disabled individuals that dont have section-8 vouchers, and does it include rental rates low enough so that a person living on social security would be able to afford the rent?
I had applied for another new developement called La Porte Appartments in Mount Vernon, however, I was not eligible for an appartment because my social security income was not enough, and I did not have a section-8 voucher or any other type of help. I had my hopes up, only to be discouraged or let down by the out come.
