Since topping out early this year, exterior work is now nearing completion on the tower portion of the 13-story, five-unit mixed-use project at 347 Bowery, located on the corner of East 3rd Street in the East Village. Bowery Boogie first spotted the scaffolding coming down, and the photo below, posted to the YIMBY Forums, is by Tectonic.

The latest building permits indicate the structure measures 25,472 square feet and rises 148 feet to the roof, not including the bulkhead. Retail space, measuring 8,439 square feet, spans the cellar through second floors. The units above will be condominiums, averaging 3,134 square feet apiece. Four will be duplexes and the fifth will be a triplex penthouse. Urban Muse is the developer and Selldorf Architects is behind the design. Completion is expected by the end of this year.
