Tribeca Associates is currently conducting a $30 million renovation of the 47-story, 470,000-square-foot office tower, known as the Continental Bank Building, at 30 Broad Street in the Financial District. Architecture firms Montroy Andersen DeMarco and Jun Aizaki Architecture & Design are behind the renovation.

The lobby will be extended through the building and receive significant upgrades. The café will also be expanded. Amenities include a new lounge/entertainment room on the eighth floor and renovated outdoor terraces. The building’s vacant office space, currently 15 percent of the property, is receiving renovations. Completion is expected in early 2017, Commercial Observer reported.

The wisteria is a nice touch to make it look so warm and cozy. The bottom part of the tower that looks to be of new construction does not match the upper part of the original tower. Nevertheless it looks OK.
