An anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC has filed applications for two four-story, eight-unit residential buildings at 1603¬†and 1605 New York Avenue, located on the southern end of East Flatbush. The buildings will measure 6,867 square feet each. Across both, the apartments should average 697 square feet apiece, indicative of rentals. Both will also include an upper penthouse level that will connect to the two apartments on the fourth floors. Jeffery S. Orling’s Mount Vernon, N.Y.-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 4,000-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story, wood-framed house. Demolition¬†permits were filed in November.
