Construction is wrapping up on 165 Chrystie Street, a ten-story residential building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Designed by Architecture Only and developed by Nortco and Nexus Development, the reinforced concrete structure stands on the west side of Sara D. Roosevelt Park between Delancey Street and Rivington Street. Sales is handled by Nest Seekers led by Ryan Serhan, with marketing handled by CORE. Layouts include six through-floor simplex units, a duplex townhouse with a private rear yard, and a triplex penthouse with a private rooftop.

Emergency Demolition Permits Filed for 171 Chrystie Street, Lower East Side

Demolition permits have been filed by Nexus Development a two-story building at 171 Chrystie Street, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Its dismantlement is considered an emergency due to damage inflicted nearly two weeks ago from what’s being described as a concrete blowout. Next door, a ten-story building by the same developer and ODA Architecture is already under construction, at 173 Chrystie Street.

Renderings For 10-Story, Nine-Unit Condo Building At 165 Chrystie Street, Lower East Side

In early 2014, YIMBY brought you news of plans for a 10-story, nine-unit condominium building at 165 Chrystie Street, on the Lower East Side, and now Curbed has the first renderings. The 17,170 square-foot building will have full-floor units averaging 1,910 square feet. DRK Chrystie LLC is developing and ODA Architecture is designing the project. The existing three-story building must first be removed; demolition permit were filed in December 2014.
