Permits have been filed for a four-story homeless shelter building at 3972 10th Avenue in Inwood, The Bronx. Located at the intersection of West 212th Street and 10th Avenue, the lot is within walking distance of the 215th Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train. Lilia Marini-Calves of the Bowery Residents’ Committee is listed as the owner behind the applications.

A vacant lot in the far-flung southeastern Bronx neighborhood of Soundview is set to be redeveloped. The non-profit Institute for Children, Poverty and Homelessness plans to develop a six-story supportive housing project at 1600 Randall Avenue, at the edge of NYCHA’s Soundview Houses and Soundview Park.
