An anonymous LLC has filed permits for an eight-story mixed-use structure in Flushing, Queens. The site, at 136-23 41st Avenue, is in a commercial center of the neighborhood, with several malls and restaurants within the surrounding blocks. The Queens Botanical Garden, Queens Museum, and Citi Field are also nearby. The last stop for 7 trains, at Main Street Station, is just over a block away.

The 86-foot-tall structure will yield a total 18,900 square feet. 1,200 square feet will be dedicated to an ambulatory treatment facility, 11,400 square feet will be dedicated to retail and a transient hotel, and the remaining 6,300 square feet will be for the hotel’s apartment rooms.

A community facility and commercial retail will be added below ground. The medical facility will be on the ground level, alongside the retail’s street-level portion, and the lobby and reception for hotel guests. Floors two through five will have thirty rooms for transient guests. Six hotel residences will be on floors six through eight, with an average 1,050 square feet per unit.

Tan Architects will be responsible for the design.
