Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 3136 Buhre Avenue, in The Bronx’s Middletown-Pelham Bay. The site is four blocks away from the Buhre Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 6 train. One block away is Pelham Bay Park, the largest public park in New York, spanning 2,772 acres, more than three times the size of Central Park. An anonymous LLC is listed as responsible for the development.

The 46-foot tall structure will yield 7,620 square feet of space, with 6,180 square feet for residential use. Eight apartments will be created, averaging 773 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Each floor will contain two units, with one of the units on the fourth floor extending into the penthouse space. Storage space will be available in the cellar.

Pelham-based Fred Geremia Architects & Planners will be responsible for the design.

The project will replace a detached two-story structure. Demolition permits have not been filed, and the estimated completion date has not been announced.
