Permits Filed For 23-23 30th Road, Astoria, Queens

Permits have been filed for a five story mixed-use building at 23-23 30th Road, in the Astoria Neighborhood of Queens. The site sits roughly three blocks southwest of the Astoria Boulevard subway station, which offers service on the N and W lines. Eric Belanich will be responsible for development.

One 55 foot tall building will yield a total of 20,210 square feet of space; 12,495 square feet of that is slated for residential use. 16 units will be created, yielding an average size of 780 square feet, indicating rentals.

The remaining 7,715 square feet of space is likely going to be offered as commercial space.

TF Cusanelli and Filletti Architect is responsible for the design.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Your details were inevitable, so I have to read it about a five-story building with mixed-use.

  2. ‘The remaining 7,715 square feet of space is likely going to be offered as commercial space.’

Commercial? In the middle of a residential (R6B) block? Strange.
