Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-used building at 105-25 65th Road, in Forest Hills, Queens. The site is seven blocks away from the 67th Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. Flushing Meadows Corona Park is six blocks to the east, with Meadow Lake nearby. FR Development LLC will be responsible for the project.

The 80-foot tall structure will yield 22,570 square feet, with 13,070 square feet dedicated to residential use, and 3,800 square feet dedicated to community facility use. 18 apartments will be created from the site, yielding 726 square feet apiece, indicating rentals.

The community space will include a lobby and the entire second floor. What it will be used for is currently unspecified. Tenants will have access to a lobby and a rooftop recreation area.

Li Architect Associate PLLC will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have been filed for the site in February 2018. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Importance of details you can see.

  2. What is lost is affordable. What replaces it is not.

  3. The E doesn’t stop at 67th.
