Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 1466 54th Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. The site is four blocks away from the 55th Street subway station, serviced by the D trains. Cityscape Build is behind the applications.

The 55-foot tall structure will yield 11,090 square feet within, with 2,540 square feet dedicated to community facility use, for a religious facility with Cong. Marah Yecheskel leading the house of worship.

There will also be 5,750 square feet dedicated to residential use. Four apartments will be created, averaging 1,438 square feet apiece, indicating large family-sized condominiums.

Floors two and three will be fully occupied by a single unit, with the fourth floor split with one single-floor residence, and one duplex, reaching into the penthouse space. The penthouse will also benefit from a rooftop terrace.

Kenneth Thomas PE will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed for the existing two-story building in March of 2017. The expected completion date has not been announced.
