Permits have been filed for two eight-story community-facility buildings at 2658 and 2660 Kingsbridge Terrace in the Fordham Manor, the Bronx neighborhood. The development is linked with 2662 Kingsbridge Terrace, whose permits we covered in December 2017. The site is located eight blocks away from the Kingsbridge Road subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Ari Thaler is responsible for the development.

The 75-foot-tall structure will yield a combined 20,270 square feet. Permits show 30 student housing rooms will be created, with four beds per unit. The developer has told YIMBY that he is certain half of the development will be used for student housing, but the precise usage for the rest of the community facility will be dictated by demand. The lot is in close proximity to a diverse market, with the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx Community College, and Lehman College all nearby.

DJLU Architect is responsible for the design. Renderings show three distinct buildings with a dramatic setback rooftop, admitting room for outdoor terraces.

Demolition permits have been filed. Construction is expected to begin in the next two months for 2662, quickly followed by 2660 and 2658, and completion 18 months later.
