Fresh Renderings Revealed For 115 Broadway in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn

115 Broadway, South Williamsburg, rendering and development by Cayuga Captial Management LLC

Located in South Williamsburg, which like most of Brooklyn has been undergoing rapid and major changes over the past decade, a small building at the intersection of Broadway, South Sixth Street and Bedford Avenue, has some new renderings. Cayuga Capital Management LLC is the developer, and has revealed fresh new images of the project. They previously purchased the sharp, triangular vacant lot back in 2016.

The site sits in between a hub of restaurants and bars that dot the area on every corner and street between the Marcy Avenue subway station to the east, and the East River waterfront to the west. The site also offers views of the Williamsburg Bridge when looking out from the top. The new structure is set to be a four-story mixed-use retail and office building measuring about 5,000 square feet, and will eventually include a rooftop bar and two levels below street level.

The main facade, reminiscent of the Flatiron Building, will have curved edges and panels, while the exterior curtain wall on both sides will have glass offset from the exterior of the building to create depth and a play on layering.

Retail space with large ceiling heights, almost two-stories tall, will be present for the future occupants. Broadway Plaza sits directly in front of the property, which had begun renovation back in the fall of 2017. Occupants will access all floors through the elevator core located in the back of the building in order to maximize the unique layout of the triangular floor plan.

DXA Studio is the designer. Construction has yet to begin but the expected completion date is reasonably set for 2020.

Looks great – I wish it was like 6 -10 stories taller though!
