Permits have been filed for a three-story hotel at 148-45 94th Avenue, in Jamaica, Queens. The site is three blocks away from the Jamaica Center subway station, end of the line for the E and J trains. The LIRR’s Jamaica train station is five blocks away, as is the AirTrain to the JFK Airport. L & B Management Inc. will be responsible for the development.

The 38-foot-tall structure will yield 30,010 square feet, with 17,500 square feet dedicated to commercial use. 62 guest rooms will be created, averaging under 300 square feet apiece. Two parking spaces will also be included. The building will have a lobby, lounge, and emergency generator

M.S. Savani Architect will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have not been filed for the existing structure. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
