After breaking ground back in July of 2018 and rising 30 floors in only six months, Greenwich West has officially topped-out over Hudson Square, in Lower Manhattan. Located at 110 Charlton Street, the new residential tower will have 170 residences, which already launched sales this past fall. The project is one of the tallest buildings in the area, and will have views of the Hudson River, Lower Manhattan, and the Midtown skyline. Strategic Capital, Cape Advisors, and Forum Absolute Capital Partners are the developers, while Loci Anima and Adamson Associates are the designers.

Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales for Greenwich West, with the sales gallery located at 435 Hudson Street. Residences start from $1,190,000, and range up to $7,750,000. Closings will start in early 2020. The loft-inspired and open floor plan units will range from studios to three-bedrooms, and also include several penthouses with outdoor landscaped terraces.

A rooftop terrace will come with multiple lounges and seating areas featuring sweeping views of New York and the Hudson River, making it a great spot for sunsets and entertainment. Other amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, onsite resident manager and porter, and handyman staff.

Phillip Gesue, Chief Officer of Development at Strategic Capital, said:

This moment marks a major milestone for Greenwich West, and we’re proud to see the building take its place on the skyline. Plaza Construction has done an incredible job of bringing our team of Parisian designers’ vision to life and the building’s rapid progress is a direct result of their hard work and dedication.

Richard Wood, CEO of Plaza Construction, added:

The rapid topping out of Greenwich West is a testament to the extraordinary efforts of our entire team of talented, designers, builders, and contractors. The team’s commitment to this project is demonstrated by the attention to detail and aggressive schedule that has enabled us to stay on track for completion in early 2020. We couldn’t be prouder of the work that has been done, and are excited to further introduce Greenwich West to the market as it progresses.

The interiors are designed to have a mix of New York-inspired architecture and Parisian elegance. Industrial-style casement windows are found on each opening, while curved corners soften and compliment the graceful interiors designed by Sebastien Segers Architects. Patrick Blanc is in charge of designing the vertical green wall in the building’s viewing garden and courtyard.

Along with a wave of new residential construction, Hudson Square is also seeing new companies announcing their relocation to the booming neighborhood, such as Google and Disney/ABC. Both plan to establish new headquarters in the vicinity.
