Permits have been filed for a seven-story hotel at 9 Patchen Avenue, in Stuyvesant Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Kossuth Place and Van Buren Street, the lot is one block south of the Kosciuszko Street subway station, serviced by the J train. Moris Yero-Shalmi of ABCNY is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot tall development will yield 49,199 square feet, with 37,168 square feet designated for hotel space. It will have 154 rooms, with an average unit scope of 241 square feet.

Robert Bianchini of ARC Architecture is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. family friendly area

  2. Not in Stuyvesant Heights. BED-STUY yes, but Stuyvesant HTS thats not even close to that Historical District. Something really needs to be done to stop this false advertisement of neighborhoods by developers, just because they sound more appealing to buyers. Why are they trying to recreate these neighborhoods. Just leave them the way they are, I don’t see why saying Bed-Stuy would make it worst. Its one the hottest neighborhood.
