Condominium tower 695 First Avenue recently unveiled its amenities package and rebranded as One United Nations Park. The 43-story building offers owners of the 148 units sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline and the East River. Solow Building Company is developing the project, with Richard Meier & Partners Architects as the designer.

The tower will rise 460 feet and feature a black glass facade, a Solow trademark. On its western facade, a second glass curtain wall extends outwards, creating private balconies and giving the tower a distinctive aesthetic.

The second floor will feature a 70-foot indoor lap pool with views of the East River, as well as a sauna and steam room. Residents also have access to a private fitness training studio. For entertainment, there is an expansive lounge with a billiards table, a screening room, and a children’s playroom. The 15,000-square-foot amenities suite was designed by Richard Meier & Partners, and includes furnishings and textiles by Finn Juhl, Fritz Hansen, De La Espada, and Knoll.

Using a driveway on the west side of the building, residents have access to a private underground parking garage. Units are also fully automated and integrated with a custom Crestron smart home system that regulates temperature, lighting, and the motorized window shades.

Located in the Midtown East neighborhood between East 39th and East 40th streets, One United Nations Park is near the United Nations Headquarters, the East River Ferry, and Grand Central Station. Pricing for One United Nations Park’s one- to four-bedroom residences begins at $1,495,000. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group has the exclusive on sales and marketing for the development.

You can’t get rich if you don’t take it from others.

  2. For fans of glass box late modernism, this will be a scrumptious morsel to savor.

Wonderful on the inside. I live in the neighborhood and every time I look at the building from my window, I can’t help but think ‘ wonder if Darth Vader will be coming home tonight?’.
