Permits were recently filed for a new four-story residential building at 735 Fenimore Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The site is located between Troy Avenue and Albany Avenue. The two closest subway stations are the Sterling Street and Winthrop Street on the 2 and 5 train, while the 2, 3, and 4 train at Utica Avenue and Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road subway stops are nearby to the east. Gerald Caliendo of Gerald Caliendo Architect is the designer and listed as the applicant of record and the filing representative. 737 Development, LLC is listed as the owner of the property.

The project will sit on the 2,000-square-foot lot and yield about 4,400 square feet of residential space divided into six dwellings, most likely becoming rentals each averaging around 730 square feet. A masonry frame will be constructed and rise 38 feet tall. The total square footage of the entire building will be just under 5,600 square feet. There will be a ten-foot-deep front yard and a 30-foot-deep rear yard.

A completion date and rendering for 735 Fenimore Street have not been announced and released yet.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: I don’t take side with Google Maps or report from Michael Young. Only good gang on group to a new four-story residential building. (Hello YIMBY)

  2. I searched and this address does not come up anywhere. Are you sure the building number is 735?
