Permits have been filed for a 15-story hotel at 144-02 94th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. Located between Liverpool Street and Sutphin Boulevard, the corner lot is near the Jamaica LIRR train station and the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue subway station, serviced by the E train. Nehalkumar Gandhi under the Liverpool Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 150-foot-tall development will yield 40,903 square feet, with 34,861 square feet designated for commercial space. The hotel will contain 150 rooms, with an average unit scope of 232 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.

Michael Kang Architect is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  3. No Alexander, unfortunately now unless it’s over 40 stories or a building of substantial meaning, nothing in the private sector in the highrise industry is union.

    They need to leave all there high rise buildings for the city point blank.. why build all these hotel then in 6 month it’s a shelter

  6. all this means is that its going to be a homeless shelter. Every new hotel or inn in east ny brooklyn or queens is actually a homeless shelter being filled up by the city who are paying twice the rate for the rooms.
    What a scam and NYC taxpayers are footing the bill.

    If not we don’t want it in our neighborhood. It will just drive up the apartments rental

    This hotel should not be allowed. We need affordable housing not these developers using the homeless crises to make huge profits

    I believe so because it’s nothing better to have a union involved with your project that are certified and with years of training in their training school.
