Permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building at 41-26 44th Street in Sunnyside, Queens. Located between Skillman Avenue and 43rd Avenue, the interior lot is eight blocks west of the 52 Street-Lincoln Avenue subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Stella Chen under the Lotus 89 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 20,000 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 27 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 740 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Wilson Chao of Studio C. Architects is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed in July 2018. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
