Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 150-23 Barclay Avenue in Flushing, Queens. Located between 150th Street and Murray Street, the interior lot is one block east of the Murray Hill LIRR station, serviced by the Port Washington train. EPOS Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 25,269 square feet, with 15,883 square feet designated for residential space, 5,882 square feet for commercial space, and 3,504 for community facilities. It will have 21 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 756 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 46 enclosed parking spaces.

Chang Hwa Tan of Tan Architect is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed in May of last year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Sinister players with evil intentions like EPOS Deveopment and Chang Hwa Tan of Tan Architect responsible for the building design of this high rise high density housing can not simply leave residential communities alone. They are attempting to transform quiet residential neighborhoods where one can still view the sky with their high rise blight assuming thats what people really want. They are purposefully imposing a foreign view and ideology about community and neighborhood and destroying one that one that has been the tradition here in this part of Queens for nearly 2 centuries. Take your unacceptable building plans elsewhere.

  2. To the above post…. I agree with your sentiments entirely but… they can build what the law says they can. You have to hold the City responsible.
