Construction has topped out on 329 Broadway, a 17-story mixed-use residential tower in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Syndicate Architecture and developed by Parkview Management, the 195-foot-tall structure contains 175,000 square feet of newly built space. The development will feature 63 units, more than 59,000 square feet of retail area on the first two floors, and around 24,500 square feet of community facilities on the third and fourth floors. JLJ Capital recently provided $57 million in financing for the project.

“Williamsburg remains one of the most popular neighborhoods in Brooklyn and continues to draw young professionals and aging hipsters who want all the borough has to offer while remaining close to Manhattan,” said Jonathan Lewis, founder and CEO of JLJ Capital. “We’re very happy to be working with 329 LLC, whose principal is an experienced developer with more than 20 years of expertise in this area, to get this exciting project completed.”

A new set of photos shows the project from up close and from a distance. The architectural juxtaposition with the adjacent landmarked St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church is most visible from the intersection of Broadway and South Fifth Street.

The reinforced concrete structure is clearly visible from the elevated Marcy Avenue subway station, which serves the M, J, and Z trains. Work on the curtain wall has yet to begin and it is unclear when this phase of the construction will commence.

Based on the state of progress, 329 Broadway will likely be finished sometime in 2020, though no official date has been announced.

  1. Thanks to Michael Young: Act of finishing on the structure, general character from your photos show me clearly. Developers make development difficult to do, but crews understand and they can deal with its prominent.

  2. St. Paul’s church is so beautiful..
