Façade work is wrapping up on the Verizon Tech Executive Education Center and Graduate Hotel on Roosevelt Island. The 18-story structure is designed by Snohetta and includes an adjacent four-story wing. Graduate Hotels will be the hotel operator of the project, which will have 224 rooms and amenities such as event spaces, a rooftop bar, a restaurant, a cafe, and four 50- to 75-seat classrooms. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill is the master planner of the campus, while Hudson Companies, Related Companies, and Brookfield are developing the entire Cornell Tech satellite campus.

Photos from Roosevelt Island show how close the site is to completion. The exterior hoist should be coming down soon. The unique geometry of the building gives each face a unique silhouette.

  1. Thanks to Michael Young: Distance by which your photos show in front of me, about 200 meters from my sexual-eyes toward your beautiful evidence. Don’t persuade me and I love it now.
