Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 778 Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Nostrand Avenue and Marcy Avenue, the lot is near the Flushing Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 93-foot-tall development will yield 47,472 square feet, with 26,749 square feet designated for community facility space, 10,093 for residential space, and 3,082 for commercial space. The building will have 60 residences. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 35-foot-long rear yard.

Urban Architectural Initiatives is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Flushing avenue stop, while not too far away, is not the nearest one. This lot is super close to Myrtle – Willoughby stop
