Permits have been filed for three single-family townhouses at 22-26 Huntington Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Located between Columbia Street and Hicks Street, the lots are closest to the Carroll Street subway station, serviced by the F and G trains. RJ Capital Holdings is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The rendering shows a light-colored façade, large windows on every level, and private outdoor terraces. The rendering also depicts four homes, however only three permits have been filed as of yet.

The proposed 30-foot-tall developments will yield 10,156 square feet each, with 9,514 square feet designated for residential space. Each building will have one residence, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and one enclosed parking space.

Tahir Demircioglu of Builtd is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lots are vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Aside from the pleasing modetn facades the format here is identical to the decades of grotesque development in NY with attached single family setback from the streetwall with a bunch of cars sitting in their paved front yards.

    I cannot applaud this.

    • Agreed. This kind of backwards-looking development is ill-suited for the 21st century. What kind of car-enthralled world are we building for our future generations?

Please give us more Brooklyn, less driveway.
