Renderings have been revealed for 67 Vestry Street, a full-building renovation in Tribeca adjacent to Hudson River Park. Located at the corner of West Street and Vestry Street, the corner building will be expanded from 115 feet and 9 stories to 153 feet and 13 stories. Iliad Realty Group is developing the 13-unit condominium building after purchasing the site for $55.5 million in 2017. BP Architects is listed as the architect of record with Gachot Studios responsible for interiors. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is the exclusive marketing and sales agent.

A construction poster on the fence along 67 Vestry Street depicts a renovated light-hued masonry façade on the first nine floors. The four new stories rise behind a setback on the tenth floor, the first of three with landscaped terraces. The top stories have large windows surrounded by a brick exterior that matches the look of the lower portion of the building.

Residents will have sweeping, unobstructed views of the Hudson River and the Jersey City skyline. The 88,712-square-foot Romanesque revival building will contain a mix of half- and full-floor loft homes and amenities such as a 50-foot lap pool.

67 Vestry is expected to be completed in summer 2021.

  1. Bravo to the developers who respected the existing building, with a restoration and renovation project, while adding a few floors. It’s very similar to numerous other buildings, around the city, and will be an asset to the neighborhood.

The alternative would have been to demolish, and build some out of scale glass box without operable windows… 20 stories or more!

  2. It would be great if we could see a map of the borough showing where the new construction sites are geographically. I frequently google a map to see where the site is exactly, but that becomes a bit of a maneuver.

  3. Another overpriced building! Bravo!
    Keep Destroying NYC

  4. This one is destined to fail like the other similar jobs on Washington Street. Summer 2021 completion? More like summer 2025
