Permits have been filed for a seven-story, two-family residential building at 410 West 49th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Located between Ninth and Tenth Avenues, the lot is one avenue west of the 50th Street subway station, serviced by the E train. Reza Garakani of Gallahad Realty Corp, listed as the owner behind the applications, previously filed permits in 2019 for a four-story, four-unit project on the same site in 2018.

A rendering reveals a light-hued brick façade with wide floor-to-ceiling windows. The ground-floor lobby and entrance feature double-height ceiling spans. It is unclear, however, if this design has been updated with the new permit filing.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 3,852 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have two residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,926 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.

David Nicholson of SBLM Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Butter’s colors when cooking or painting on art, both are used in progress for food or the building: Thank you.
