Exterior work is getting close to completion on 145 Central Park North, aka 145 West 110th Street, a 132-foot-tall residential building in Harlem. Designed and constructed by GLUCK+ and developed by Grid Group, the 13-story, 37-unit project is located directly across the street from Central Park between Malcolm X Boulevard and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard.

Recent photos show almost all of the main southern elevation complete. The design features two distinctive, contrasting styles. The lower portion features a curtain wall of dark steel beams and thin mullions framing floor-to-ceiling windows. The upper levels do away with the metal framing for a light, clear envelope with stepped tiers running parallel with West 110th Street. They culminate in a relatively flat roof parapet, with the exception of the extruded mechanical units in the centerline of the superstructure. The rendering shows these setbacks topped with landscaped terraces.

The main areas awaiting completion are the ground floor behind the green construction boards, and the entire western elevation, which is covered in scaffolding and white cloth.

The property will span 62,270 square feet, with 51,060 square feet dedicated to condominiums averaging 2,127 square feet apiece. A few select units come with private terraces. The building will also feature nine private parking spaces and amenities including a recreational room, a fitness center, and a rooftop terrace. The nearest subways are the 2 and 3 trains at the 110th Street-Central Park North station, located at the intersection of West 110th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard.

Construction on 145 Central Park North is expected to finish in late summer or early fall.

  1. The contrast in the different design ideas on 145 Central Park North is a lot better than depicted in the rendering. Still, I have mixed feelings about it.

  2. How can I apply?

  3. This looks amazing in person. I would love to own a top floor here. Any news about the price? Central Park North has been undervalued for decades but it’s finally on the map.

  4. Can you post an update on the prison in Central Park North that was being sold. Was it then sold? Is a new condo coming up there?

Also an update on the Hermosa Church development would be great.

    Thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  5. I dream of having one of these beautiful apartment as my home.

  6. So strange that its depicted in the rendering having a ugly setback but in reality there is none. Usually it’s the exact opposite.
