Permits have been filed for a 15-story residential building at 157 West 24th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. Located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, the interior lot is one block north of the 23rd Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train. Jin S. An under the 157 West 24th Street Lodging LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 150-foot-tall development will yield 23,485 square feet, with 21,482 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 21 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,022 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard, but no accessory parking.

Simon D. Lee of TL Engineering is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
