Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 959 Anderson Avenue in Highbridge, The Bronx. Located between West 162nd Street and West 164th Street, the interior lot is closest to the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium subway station, serviced by the B, D, and 4 trains. Abraham Rosenfeld under the 959 Anderson Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 21,230 square feet, with 17,180 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 25 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 687 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 33-foot-long rear yard but no accessory parking.

Amr Ouda is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in October of this year for a three-story structure on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Yes I’m looking for a one bedroom or studio apt how can I apply

  8. I applied affordable housing via section 8 division, since 2019. The application expires in September, 2021.
Upon several contacts during the years of 2019 & 2020 respectively,to inquiry regarding my section 8 for application status, they indicated there’s outstanding long waiting list & advised to update application, by calling the section 8 office located at one Fordham Plaza, Bronx, nyc;prior to application final expiration in the September, 2021. Failure to update application filed in the year of 2019; will result starting all over the two years wasted due to prospective applicant’s inability to follow-ups in reupdating the case #, on applicant’s initial application for section 8 & affordable housing urgency in the NYC.gov/section 8 division.
Please, assist this applicant’s deteriorating dying medical & mental health conditions, in attendance to patient’s long historical & current worst medical & health conditions of this American senior aging citizen & worst ill- health conditions.
    Thank you.
