Where will all the garbage cans go? Right in front.
Why developers or city permit rules don’t provide a designated and protected location for garbage cans is a mystery. A very beautiful modernistic new apartment building near Prospect Park has a dozen ugly garbage cans lining the front of the building. This really needs to stop.

While in a much better location than the building at building at 2741 Fulton Street as seen on New York YIMBY on Tuesday, the fact remains that the “affordable rent” is still too high for those in need! In fact, its either just above the actual market rent or right at it. While its an acceptable building overall, it is in no way helping out those New Yorkers who need actual affordable housing!

    • It’s never good to post personal information online. You may get scammed. Keep looking and you may find what you need. Good luck!

  12. If you can afford to pay $2000 a month, you DONT NEED an affordable housing unit!! These prices are still too high for working artists, freelancers, independent contractors, service workers, etc…those of us who need affordable units. Is anyone at City Hall paying attention to the skyrocketing prices of these lottery apartments?

  13. I feel for alot of people BUT renters MUST UNDERSTAND landlords have a HUGH BURDEN taxes utilities maintenance local law mandates FIRE/BUILDING DEPT inspection/fines DEADBEAT TENNANT mortgage payments AND WATER is NOT frée AND TO ALL YOU IDIOTS WHO SAY THE GOVERNMENT CAN JUST PRINT MORE MONEY DO YOU WANT TO WANT A CURRENCY THAT’S WORTHLESS?WHERE YOU NEED A MILLION DOLLARS TO SURVIVE?LIKE COLUMBIA TURKEY CHILE PLEASE STUDY ECONOMICS ALSO STUDY NYC HISTORY IN 1991 THE MURDER RATE WAS 2100 IN THE 1960S BUILDING OWNERS ABANDONED BUILDINGS BECAUSE THEY WERE LOOSING MONEY REMEMBER DEMAND YOUR RIGHTS AND YOU MAY GET only to shoot yourself in the foot

  14. This is a poor excuse calling it affordable housing one bedroom 1900, two bedroom over 2000.00 I have learn through the grapevine that these affordable housing are like the size of bread box what is this , it’s a slapping face for hard working people who really need a place to live , again this is about GREED , when are you going to come to your senses about affordable housing , you call this affordable ????

How you lottery s*** people say it’s affordable knowing it’s not. I have so many proof that you guys lied. I applied for a 1 bedroom apartment that was $20/30 thousand yearly and didn’t get approved. Hasa only pays $1600. a month for a 1 bedroom. You guys are ridiculous. If you gonna say affordable show that it is affordable not something that a rich person can pay. Making $60-$90 thousand a yearly is not affordable.

    • Blame the city and state, this is their definition of affordable.

    • This site was once for low income families and low income single individuals…what happened..this is a site for rich families only…How are these properties affordable when NYC only pays minimum wage $15.00 an hour. This pandemic was an advantage to the poor.Landlords want even take Section 8 anymore and if they do if they do they’re asking for first last and double security..these are low income families there asking for thousands of poor people money to rent..they’re taking advantage..housing connect once was

  20. Hi I’m looking for rent how can I receive an application sigle mom with my son

  21. Love this place!!!!
I do not understand why people are so negative…. if you cannot afford the property please move on. Your financial issues: voucher, section 8, kids, freelance, not enough money, etc are not the landlords problem. Find a property that you can afford in the situation you are in.

  22. Please tell me how to get an appli action I need two bedroom apartment.pp

  25. Gentrification at it’s finest-
People would Never want to even walk the blocks of Bushwick, now everyone will be forced to move out, due to real estate squeezing these overly priced buildings in between 2 other buildings that are holding up by a thread. It’s a shame, its not affordable, it’s a rip off. You may have this beautiful apartment, but your next door neighbor is a junkie! YOU can change the frame, the picture will remain the same
