Renderings Reveal a New Residential Building at 26-24 4th Street in Astoria, Queens

Fresh renderings from J. Frankl Associates reveal a forthcoming residential building in the northwest corner of Astoria, Queens. The property will occupy a large corner lot at 26-25 4th Street near the East River waterfront and will eventually house 99 condominium units.

Big Apple Designers, a Brooklyn-based real estate firm, is the developer responsible for the project.

The new illustrations depict a lightly hued cementitious façade with large punched windows, bronze metal framing, modest balconies, and a sizeable terrace on the seventh floor.

The massing of the structure is described as two segmented buildings that will intersect and top out at five and seven stories. When complete, the property will contain 98,000 square feet, which also includes a business center, three outdoor terraces, and a fitness center.

The project is currently in pre-construction and the project team has not confirmed when the structure could break ground.

    Thank you!

  2. Right down the block from a pretty nasty housing project, and a long schlep to the subway. And to get to the ferry you have to walk right through the projects. Pass.

How sickening is it that avoiding walking through a dangerous City project is now considered racist.
