The affordable housing lottery has launched for 38-35 Crescent Street, a six-story mixed-use building in Long Island City, Queens. The 26,000-square-foot development was designed by Mehdi Ghazi and yields 17 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $72,858 to $167,570.

Residential amenities include assigned parking spaces, a shared laundry room, storage, and a rooftop terrace. Residents get three months free rent on initial leases.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three one-bedrooms with a $2,125 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $72,858 to $139,620, and three two-bedrooms with a $2,525 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $86,572 to $167,570.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 14, 2021.
