The first property at M Station, a new commercial complex in Morristown, New Jersey, is now topped out. Located in the heart of the city’s downtown area, the building will debut as M Station East and house a mix of Class-A office space and retail suites.

The M Station campus is a collaborative development from SJP Properties and Scotto Properties and is expected to invigorate areas surrounding the Morristown train station, which is located approximately 500 feet away from M Station East along Morris Avenue.

Designed by Gensler, the building stands six stories tall and will comprise 120,000 square feet. This includes 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and 110,000 square feet of office space. The developer has confirmed that Deloitte will occupy all available office space at M Station East.

The building is expected to open later this year.

“Each day we are getting closer to delivering a future workplace that will attract leading-edge companies to Morristown’s downtown, invigorating area businesses, and activating the streets during the daytime,“ said Steve Pozycki, CEO of SJP Properties. “In just three months since breaking ground we’ve reached the full height of M Station East, and are tracking quickly toward additional milestones as our vision for this important development comes to fruition.”

The development’s second building, M Station West, is also designed by Gensler and will comprise 253,000 square feet and top out at seven stories. This sister property will also house a mix of Class-A office space and ground-floor retail.

In addition to garden landscaping throughout the campus, the property will also support a new 1,000-vehicle parking garage with a mix of publicly accessible spaces and staff-only parking.

  1. “10,000-vehicle parking garage”??? – Are we talking about bike parking spaces or did you add an extra zero? The diagram show ~200 parking spots so a 10,000 vehicle ramp would need 50 levels, instead of 5.
