Construction has topped out on 532 Clinton Avenue, a seven-story residential building in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by Afshari PC and developed by 532 Clinton LLC, the 80-foot-tall reinforced concrete superstructure will yield 30,000 square feet and 12 units, for an average of 1,695 square feet apiece. The residential program includes ten three-bedroom, two-bathroom units and two two-bedroom, two-bathroom units. The developer purchased the 6,6780-square-foot plot for $6.5 million in 2019 and excavation and construction gradually progressed on the building starting last summer.

Photographs of the edifice show the concrete-framed building structurally built to its pinnacle and awaiting the start of façade installation. Sidewalk scaffolding surrounds the ground floor, but the building itself is still visible when standing across Clinton and Atlantic Avenues. 532 Clinton Avenue is being built directly to the east of Morris Adjmi‘s 550 Clinton Avenue.

The black and white elevation rendering seen on site shows a mostly symmetrical eastern profile made with a mix of light-colored stone, floor-to-ceiling glass panels, stacks of balconies and dark metal railings, and spandrels. It looks like the roof has a couple small mechanical extensions with a rooftop access structure.

The rendering seen below, created by ARC Architecture Design Studio, appears to be a previous iteration, since the current building massing differs significantly from it.

Residents will have access to a large main lobby, an outdoor rooftop deck, private storage, seven on-site parking spots in the cellar, and bicycle storage that can hold up to ten bikes. The nearest subways are the A and C trains at the Clinton-Washington Avenue station to the north. The Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station is also nearby to the west, with access to the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains and the Long Island Railroad.

532 Clinton Avenue is scheduled to be completed next spring, as indicated on the construction board.
