The affordable housing lottery has launched for 933 Rogers Avenue, a seven-story residential building in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by Jeffrey Sandor Orling Architect and developed by Bernard Schwimmer, the structure yields 32 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are ten units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $61,715 to $167,570.

Amenities include common area Wi-Fi, a gym, shared laundry room, assigned parking spaces, common area wifi, package lockers, bike storage lockers, a virtual doorman, outdoor green space, and a rooftop terrace. Residences have name brand kitchen appliances and finishes, air conditioning, hardwood floors, and energy-efficient appliances.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are two studios with a monthly rent of $1,800 for incomes ranging from $61,715 to $124,150; two one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,960 for incomes ranging from $67,200 to $139,620; and six two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,180 for incomes ranging from $74,743 to $167,570.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than July 28, 2021.

    Too high in a poor neighbor hood plagued by drive by shootings should be far cheaper 30% of income.

    I am looking for a spacious affordable 2.5 bd.& 2ba. Or 2bed 1.5 bath with laundry, elevator security camera system. I am disabled. Partially disabled.
    The need for beautiful Apts. Like these advs. Need to be much lowermin price ranges please. As stated by a couple of other posters.
    20-30% of one’s income for half of the bldg. would be great & is greatly needed. Please. Thank you
