New renderings have been revealed for Sutton Tower, a 67-story residential skyscraper nearing completion at 430 East 58th Street in Sutton Place. Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen and Stephen B. Jacobs Group and developed by Gamma Real Estate and JVP Management, the 848-foot-tall structure will yield 125 condominiums with an expansive amenity package. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing for the Midtown East property, which is alternately addressed as 3 Sutton Place and is located between Sutton Place South and First Avenue.

Sutton Tower will offer panoramic East River views while blending nicely into the neighborhood’s classic architecture with its Bavarian Limestone-cladded façade. Renderings show an even grid of floor-to-ceiling windows across the rectangular box, with a patterned motif hiding the mechanicals in the crown.

Residents will have access to 22,000 square feet of amenities that span over four floors of the development. Highlights include a 50-foot-long swimming pool, spa suites, steam rooms and infrared sauna, a fitness center, yoga and dance studio, training and boxing room, lounge with billiards and outdoor dining terrace, a library, media room, and a private landscaped garden.

Residences will be priced from approximately $2.5 million for a one-bedroom to $18 million for a full-floor residence. More details are available on the development’s marketing site. Occupancy is anticipated by late 2022.

  1. I think it’s a beautiful building in terms of the facade treatment, but the lack of setbacks just makes it look like a monolith.

  2. Less than two condos per floor.

  3. That off center base/entry really kills the look.

A new beautiful design tower can grow on structure, find out the highest from its base. See the light and rectangular, begin to believe in residential skyscraper: Thank you.

  5. It looks like 432 Park Ave.’s
    “little brother”? 🤔

Best part is how it seemlessly fits the scale of existing buildings, and is barely noticeable! 🤣😂🤣

  6. New renderings released as the building nears completion ?

  7. Irritatingly off kilter. Was that necessary?

  8. Totally out of scale to the neighborhood. How did this building get approvals?

  9. Who cares about new renderings? This building is nearly complete, current photos would be so much more interesting.
