Renderings have been revealed for 1807 66th Street, a seven-story mixed-use building in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Designed by Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects Studio and developed by FSA Capital, the 30,400-square-foot structure will yield 20 rental apartments spread across 15,500 square feet, a 20-vehicle parking garage, and two small community facilities. The property is located at the corner of 18th Avenue and 66th Street.

The first two floors of the building will be enclosed in double-height glass. Above, the residential volume is enclosed in a tan cladding with oversized windows at the corners of the property, setbacks with large private terraces, and a collection of small balconies. The inclusion of amenity spaces was not specified in construction permits filed with the Department of Buildings in 2021, but renderings of the property appear to illustrate a roof-level terrace.

It is also unclear how the two community facility spaces, spanning 4,388 square feet, will be activated.

  1. The building looks very different from its neighbors. At least it nicely bookmarks the corner.

  2. Looks like an ordinary unadorned residential building sitting atop a strip mall big box store. At least bring the white building down to the street at the entrance?! So little skill and so little consideration.

  3. The building looks nicer than most building in the neighborhood, definitely going to shake up local real estate market.
