The Anable Completes Construction at 10-64 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens

Construction is complete on The Anable, an eight-story residential building at 10-64 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Zproekt and developed by BK Developers, the structure yields 22 homes in one- to three-bedroom layouts including duplexes spanning over 1,400 square feet, as well as ground-floor retail space. Modern Spaces in charge of leasing and marketing for the property, which is bound by Jackson Avenue to the north and 50th Avenue to the south.

Recent photos show the completed look of the exterior and its dark gray brick façade and curved corner at the western end. The window grid is arranged into tall columns, several of which are populated with stacks of balconies.

A banner on the commercial frontage lists Newmark as the leasing agent. The ground floor features double-height windows, and is able to support either a restaurant or a traditional store.

Condominium units come with 10-foot-high ceilings, wide-plank hardwood flooring, recessed lighting, Daikin heating and cooling systems, Scavolini cabinetry, Blomberg and Bertazzoni appliances, radiant heated bathroom floors with Toto toilets, Grohe shower systems, Spanish tiling, and in-unit stackable washers and dryers. Select residences come with private outdoor terraces. Amenities include a fitness center, a children’s playground, and a rooftop deck with barbecue grills and seating.

The Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue 7 train station is located directly in front of The Anable.

  1. Stupid balconies. Would have looked so much better fully recessed or better yet nonexistent.

  2. This building really kind of sucks when you start to examine it. I’ve noticed most of this architects projects are kinda bad. Also a missed opportunity to provide a new modern street stair to the 7 train station.

    Too many to count on stacked of balconies, but beautiful with these prominent parts above the street, glass views come to first finding to stop at its door. Developers have made a right design in a located, when I did not plan to look at the structure with attracted window grid: Thanks to Michael Young.

  4. Does it rhyme with ‘animal’, or is it ‘annabelle’? This name disturbs me!
