Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 702 Hancock Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Malcolm X Boulevard and Patchen Avenue, the interior lot is a short walk to the Gates Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains. 702 Hancock Works LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 6,590 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 823 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 38-foot-long rear yard.

Paul A. Castrucci Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in August 2021 for the single-story structure on the site, which is now vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  6. Why can’t YIMBY just pit a disclaimer telling people the comment aection is not for housing inquiries?

    Why is that so hard?

It’s pretty inconsiderate to just let all these earnest people go on thinking this website is actually going to get back with them.
