The affordable housing lottery has launched for Harry T. Nance Apartments, a ten-story mixed-use building at 1860 Eastern Parkway in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The 73,012-square-foot, 67-unit development is designed by Heritage Architecture and developed by RiseBoro Community Partnership. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 55 units for residents at 30 to 60 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $18,515 to $84,600.
1860 Eastern Parkway
The historic Our Lady of Loreto Church in Brownsville was just saved from being torn down to make way for affordable housing. Now, a different church two blocks away, at 1860 Eastern Parkway, is going to be demolished for another affordable development.
