Construction Nears Completion on Two Manhattan West in Midtown West, Manhattan

Leading off the top ten of our year-end countdown of the tallest buildings under construction in New York is Two Manhattan West, a 935-foot-tall commercial skyscraper in the Manhattan West master plan in Midtown West. Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Brookfield, the 58-story structure rises directly south of its taller fraternal twin, One Manhattan West, and will yield 1.9 million square feet of office space. W&W Glass in the facade contractor and AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the northwest corner of West 31st Street and Ninth Avenue.

KPMG Signs 450,000-Square-Foot Lease at Two Manhattan West in Midtown West, Manhattan

KPMG will soon relocate its headquarters to Two Manhattan West, a new 58-story office skyscraper in Midtown West, on the edge of Hudson Yards. At 450,000 square feet, the transaction is the largest office deal to close in New York City this year.

Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Brookfield, the 935-foot-tall tower will yield 2 million square feet of office space and is engineered to achieve LEED Gold Certification. W&W Glass is the facade contractor and AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of West 31st Street and Ninth Avenue, directly to the south of its taller fraternal twin, One Manhattan West. YIMBY last announced that Cravath, Swaine & Moore has signed on as the flagship tenant for the building.

Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Brookfield, the 935-foot-tall tower will yield 2 million square feet of office space directly to the south of its taller fraternal sibling, One Manhattan West. W&W Glass is the facade contractor and AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the project, which is aiming for LEED Gold Certification and is located at the corner of West 31st Street and Ninth Avenue. Two Manhattan West is already 25 percent leased with law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore confirmed as the flagship tenant.
