Seven-Story, 37-Unit Mixed-Use Project Tops Out at 50 Clinton Street, Lower East Side

Back in February, the seven-story, 37-unit mixed-use project under development at 50 Clinton Street, on the Lower East Side, was two stories above street level. Now, the structure is fully topped out, according to Bowery Boogie. It measures 43,002 square feet and will eventually feature 1,836 square feet of ground-floor retail. The condominium units – being designed by Paris Forino – should average 1,023 square feet apiece and will come in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations. As reported previously, amenities include bike storage space, private residential storage, a fitness center, and recreational space on the rooftop. DHA Capital is developing the project, while Issac & Stern Architects is behind the design. Completion can be expected before 2017.

Seven-Story, 37-Unit Residential Building Rises At 50 Clinton Street, Lower East Side

In December of 2015, foundation work was underway at the planned seven-story, 37-unit residential building at 50 Clinton Street, on the Lower East Side. Now, Bowery Boogie reports the structure is two stories above street level. Once complete, the project will encompass 43,002 square feet and will have 1,836 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The residential units, which are condominiums, will average 1,023 square feet apiece and Paris Forino is designing the interiors. Only six units remain up for grabs. Amenities will include, but are not limited to, a 24-hour doorman, bike storage, residential storage, a fitness center, and a rooftop recreation space. Issac & Stern Architects is behind the project design and DHA Capital is the developer. Completion is expected by the end of this year.

Foundation Work Underway For Seven-Story, 37-Unit Condo Project At 50 Clinton Street, Lower East Side

Early in 2014, YIMBY reported on applications for a seven-story, 37-unit residential building at 50 Clinton Street, on the Lower East Side, and later that year, DHA Capital acquired the development site for $28 million. Bowery Boogie now reports foundation work is well underway, although construction has been temporarily halted by stop work orders. Issac & Stern Architects is designing the project, which will also include 1,836 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The residential units will be condos and will average 1,023 square feet apiece. All but eight are in contract and completion is scheduled for the second half of 2016.
