Today’s housing lottery round-up features five buildings with affordable units on Housing Connect with deadlines closing within the next seven days. Unfortunately, an update to the Housing Connect website this week has apparently left the system rather glitchy, as it now lists incorrect numbers of units remaining, and the photos and renderings have similarly become defunct, all in the midst of New York City’s worst housing crisis since the 1930s.

Housing Lottery Launches for 885 Rogers Plaza in Flatbush, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery is now open for 885 Rogers Plaza, a seven-story mixed-use development at 885 Rogers Avenue in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Also addressed as 2708 Snyder Avenue, the 108,175-square-foot corner building is designed by S. Wieder Architect and developed by Anshel Friedman and will yield a total 105 units in a mix of studios, one-, and two-bedroom units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 32 apartments for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $61,715 to $159,640.
