Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 1340 Blondell Avenue in Westchester Square, The Bronx. Located between Fink Avenue and Ponton Avenue, the lot is near the Westchester Square-East Tremont Avenue subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Nimrud Eyal of Exact Capital Group, under the Blondell Equities LLC, is listed as the owner behind the applications. YIMBY previously reported Blondell Equities filed a rezoning proposal for a nine-story mixed-use structure at the site.

Victory Plaza has officially opened in Central Harlem. The nine-story, 136-unit development with 100 percent affordable housing for seniors is located at 11 West 118th Street. Developed by Camber Property Group in partnership with Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement (HCCI), the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development, and the New York City Housing Development Corporation, the building is designed by Aufgang Architects.

Last week Camber Property Group and Westhab announced the topping out of 913 East Tremont Avenue, a 100-percent affordable rental development in The Bronx’s West Farms neighborhood. Components of the 11-story, 98,846-square-foot development include 119 housing units and 6,500 square feet of commercial space. The building is designed by Aufgang Architects and is being constructed by SD Builders.

Affordable Housing Secures Financing At 261 East 202nd and 270 East 203rd Streets in Bedford Park, The Bronx

This week New York State Homes and Community Renewal, New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and developer CAMBA Housing Ventures, an affiliate of CAMBA, Inc. announced the closing of construction financing to the tune of $164 million for an affordable and supportive housing development in Bedford Park, The Bronx. Located at 261 East 202nd Street and 270 East 203rd Street, the two 11-story buildings will be known as CHV 202nd and 203rd Street, and offer 323 residential units and supportive services to the formerly homelessness and seniors. Aufgang Architects is designing the project.

Affordable Housing Lottery Launches for Fountain Seaview B3 Apartments in East New York, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery is now open for Fountain Seaview B3 Apartments, a nine-story mixed-use development at 881 Erskine Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Arker Companies, the 131,386-square-foot will yield a total 144 units in a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 112 apartments for residents at 30 to 60 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $13,543 to $84,600. The building is one of eight in the redevelopment of the former state-run Brooklyn Developmental Center site, with a mix of residential, retail, and community space. Overall Fountain Seaview will have 1,169 residential units with 397 of those designated as affordable housing.
