Brooklyn-based Centro Paz Construction Corp. has filed applications for a four-story, four-unit residential building at 1241 43rd Street, in northern Borough Park. The project will measure 6,689 square feet and its full-floor residential units should average 1,212 square feet apiece, indicative of apartments with family-sized configurations. Douglas Pulaski’s Brooklyn-based Bricolage Designs is the architect of record. The 22-foot-wide, 2,203-square-foot lot is vacant.

An anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC has filed applications for a three-story, three-unit residential building at 1668 59th Street, on the southern end of Borough Park. The project will measure 7,617 square feet and its full-floor residential units should average a spacious 1,865 square feet apiece. Apartments that big probably means family-sized homes are in the works. Jose Lockhart’s Brooklyn-based Tecnico Engineering is the applicant of record. The 32-foot-wide, 3,205-square-foot property is vacant.

Three-Story, 3,800-Square-Foot Mixed-Use Commercial Building Coming To 1795 45th Street, Borough Park

Brooklyn-based USA Prince Properties has filed applications for a three-story, 3,792-square-foot mixed-use commercial building at 1795 45th Street, located on a wedge-shaped lot on the corner of Dahill Road in eastern Borough Park. There will be an equal amount of commercial and community facility space spread across all three levels, per the Schedule A. Kenneth Thomas’s Hudson Valley-based firm is the applicant of record. The 1,896-square-foot lot is vacant. The 18th Avenue stop on the F train is a block away.



1770 52nd Street

New Three-Story, 93,700-Square-Foot Synagogue Planned At 1770 52nd Street, Borough Park

Brooklyn-based congregation Heichal Hatfillah has filed applications for a new three-story, 93,725-square-foot synagogue at 1770 52nd Street, located at the corner of 18th Avenue in southern Borough Park. The 60-foot-tall structure will feature two lecture halls, a banquet hall, and various spaces for rituals on two below-grade levels. The ground through third levels will contain the main sanctuary, offices, and a 12,224-square-foot living quarters. Karl Fischer’s SoHo-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 26,077-square-foot site is currently vacant. The Avenue I stop on the F train is located five blocks away.
