The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1200 and 1202 Decatur Street, a pair of four-story residential buildings in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by ARC Architecture + Design Studio and developed by Ariel Shalom under Threefold LLC, the structures yield a combined 16 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $77,143 to $187,330.

Designed by BTE Design Services, the structure yields 14,578 square feet and 15 residences. Excavation, Pilings Continue for The Brook at 589 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn

Excavation and piling work is continuing for The Brook, a 51-story residential skyscraper at 589 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by Witkoff and Apollo Global Management, the 600-foot-tall tower will yield 591 units with 30 percent reserved for affordable housing, as well as 30,000 square feet of retail space and a 12,000-square-foot cellar level. Bonetti Kozerski is the interior designer and Suffolk Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by DeKalb Avenue to the north, Fulton Street to the south, Flatbush Avenue diagonally to the east, and Bond Street to the west.

Alloy Block’s 100 Flatbush Avenue Reaches Halfway Mark in Downtown Brooklyn

Construction is rising on 100 Flatbush Avenue, a 44-story residential building in the Alloy Block multi-tower complex in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed and developed by Alloy Development, the 482-foot-tall tower will yield 441 residences with 45 units reserved for affordable housing. Urban Atelier Group is the contractor for the property, which is bound by Flatbush Avenue to the northeast, Third Avenue to the northwest, and State Street to the southwest.

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1110 DeKalb Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Eyal Levitt Architect and developed under the Tabi Tabi LLC, the structure yields 29 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are nine units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $74,709 to $156,130.

Brooklyn Tower’s Façade Nears Completion at 9 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn

Exterior work is getting closer to completion on The Brooklyn Tower, a 93-story residential supertall at 9 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by SHoP Architects and developed by JDS Development, the 1,066-foot skyscraper stands as the tallest structure in the outer boroughs and will yield 550 residences, with 150 condominiums, 280 market-rate rentals, and 120 affordable rentals, as well as a 100,000-square-foot retail podium that incorporates the renovated landmarked Dime Savings Bank of Brooklyn. Gachot Studios is in charge of residential interior design, Krista Ninivaggi of Woods Bagot is handling amenity design, HMWhite is the landscape designer, R&R Scaffolding supplied the BMU, and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing Group is the exclusive marketing, sales, and leasing agent for the property, which is bound by Flatbush Avenue Extension to the northeast, Fleet Street to the northwest, DeKalb Avenue to the south, and the adjoining Dime Savings Bank of Brooklyn to the west.

Permits Filed for 346 Avenue U in Gravesend, Brooklyn

Located between East 1st Street and West Street, the lot is one block from the Avenue U subway station, serviced by the F train. Jack Tawil under the RedHoek Construction LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

171 North 1st Street Nears Completion in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Exterior work is nearing completion on 171 North 1st Street, a seven-story residential building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Gemini Rosemont under the North First Street LLC, the 70-foot-tall structure will yield 59 units spread across 49,802 square feet as well as 29 enclosed parking spaces. Broadway Construction Group is the general contractor of the property, which is located between Bedford and Driggs Avenues.
